*MAREN'S GYMNASTICS

Maren has been doing gymnastics for awhile now. At first she was a little shy, now she is really into it. She rarely ever speaks during it, but you can tell she is having a blast.

*ALEXA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY*

We had Alexa's birthday party at Wonderscope this year. The kids seemed to have a blast. You go to different rooms that have different activities. One is a ball room where you take golf balls and roll them down different ramps, another is a pretend store / restaurant, they have a space room (where the pic is taken, a water room, a craft room, a hospital room, and lego room. At the end Alexa and her guests sat down and had cupcakes and opened presents.

*GIRL'S GETTING READY FOR A PARTY*

The girls did hot rollers before Alexa's birthday party. I had to take a couple of shots of them with their curlers in! Maren of course jumped in to take her pics, but Alexa didn't want her picture taken with them in.

*ALEXA'S 4TH TOOTH IS LOST!*

Alexa with her tooth.

Alexa putting her tooth into her tooth fairy pillow for the night.

The next morning after the tooth fairy came.

Alexa lost another tooth! Blue was the color of the dress the fairy was wearing this time. The tooth fairy looks like she left Alexa some cash too - just in time for her birthday.

*FAMILY FUN DAY AT KCPL*

Alexa and Maren made musical instruments.

Alexa and Maren are learning about how oil separates.

The girls got to plant their own baby seedling.

Step through the hoop game. Maren needed help, but Alexa got it down right away. When the music stopped the person in the hoop looses.

This was pass the stuffed animal. When the music stopped - you loose. Alexa was quick at throwing it, but Maren would just stand there and smile when it came to her, until the person running the game would help her throw it to the person next to them.

One Saturday a month KCPL has a family fun day. Each month is a different theme. This month was a bunch of things all put together. Radio Disney was there too. They dj'd and had the kids playing games. There was a place to teach the kids about recycling, a place where they made music intsruments, a place where they planted their own seed, and a few other stations. I think they enjoyed playing the games with radio disney the best.

The girls woke up early to see if the Easter Bunny came. At the looks of their baskets you can sure tell he did. He also left each of them riddles. Each riddle led to another one until finally they found a gift at the end. Alexa's was her Cotton Candy Bunny and Maren's was her pretend oven.

*COLORING EASTER EGGS*

The night before Easter - the girls colored eggs. They were armed with glitter pens, dye, and stickers. Maren enjoyed sticking on the stickers the best. Jay always does a couple eggs with the girls. Alexa is getting awesome at decorating her eggs with several colors. Fletcher and Erin came to watch the girls color eggs too.

*EASTER EGG HUNT*

Maren wasn't too shy with this Easter Bunny and of course Alexa ran up to him without a problem.

Alexa finding an egg.

Maren finding an egg and wanting to open it - instead of getting more.

Maren started off getting her face painted.

Then quickly changed her mind to have her arm painted instead.

Alexa getting her face painted.

Girld bouncing.

In the afternoon, the girls went for an Easter Egg Hunt at the Porter Park near our house. They had it divided into different age sections. I went with Maren and Jay went with Alexa. Maren wanted to stop and open each egg before moving on to the next, so I was trying to convince her to keep going the entire time. Alexa was good about grabbing and going. They also had face painting, games, snacks and blow up bouncers there. I think Alexa's favorite part was the free popcorn!

*MEETING THE EASTER BUNNY*

Me convincing Maren to smile.

She looks like she's not panicing too much here.

We went and saw the Easter Bunny this morning. Alexa told me she was going to tell him what she wanted. I had to explain that you only tell Santa what you want. Not the Easter Bunny. He just brings little surprises for them.
Alexa really has never had an issue when it comes to sitting on Santa's or the Easter Bunny's lap. Maren is a different story. She is fine the entire time we are in line, but once we get out there she always becomes scared. I was surprised that she sat still to get her picture - you can still see she is very unsure of the situation. I think this is our first one of her not completly crying or of her sitting on my lap while I sat on Santa's or the Easter Bunny's lap.

*ALEXA'S SOCCER GAME*

Alexa throwing a ball in.

Alexa is all the way to the left - she is a defender.

This is the end of the game where the girls all say "good job" to each other.

Alexa has been playing soccer for a few seasons with this team. It's a ton of girls from her school, so it helped her get to know some of the ones that aren't in her class. She really enjoys going to practice and to the games.

*ALEXA'S 3RD TOOTH IS LOST!*

And the tooth fairy wore a orange dress. Alexa also made 3 dollars on that tooth. We were wondering when it would finally fall out.

*MICHAEL AND MAREN BOUNCING*

Angie took the kids to the mall and let them bounce on the trampoline. They look like they are having a blast.
