*CHRISTMAS 2010*

Alexa woke up at 2:30 in the morning and asked if she could read until we woke up. Of course I told her no and to head back to bed. Then Maren came in a few hours later. By the end, we all were snuggled in bed together until morning time. As soon as the sun started shinging the girls woke us up. I always head down first to check to see if Santa came and then I call them down.
Alexa really wanted an IPOD or a Kindle for Christmas and Maren really wanted a Crimp & Style Moxie Doll. Santa delivered and got them both IPODs and Maren also got her doll she wanted. Once they got the IPODs they didn't put them down for days.
After we ate we all got ready and headed to Grandpa and Grandma Burhans for a quick lunch. Aunt Rachel, Grandpa Fred and Lisa were there too.
Then we headed to Grandma Adams for dinner with all of the Adams family. We were all eager to head home and relax after that busy day.

*CHRISTMAS EVE*

Today we went to Grandma Marilyn's and then headed home to get ready for church. Our church was so packed that we had to head to a different chapel that had a slightly different service. After church we went to Jack Stack for dinner and headed home to get ready for Santa.
The girls have started a tradition where they both sleep in the same bed just like my sister and I did when we were little. Of course they couldn't decide between sleeping in the bed or laying in the window seat.

*MAREN AS MARY*

Maren got to be Maren in her preschool play. She had to stand there the entire time until it was her time to pick up baby Jesus and rock him. She did it perfectly on cue. Michael was one of the 3 kings. He did his part perfectly too.

*ALEXA'S STARLIGHT PLAY*

Alexa went all semester to an acting class at Johnson Community Collge put on by Starlight. At the end they put on a play to show what they learned. The play was about several of the storybook characters. Alexa had several parts in it (Gretal being her main role), but what she was most proud about was that she got to sing in everyone of the songs. I was surprised when she had a duet song with another girl. She was suppose to sing her part with a boy, but he was out sick. She did really great on all of her solos. I was so proud about how outgoing she was.

*ALEXA'S PIANO RECITAL*

Alexa did great at her piano. She played Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and Scarf Dance. This year she looked a little more nervous than last year. I saw her little fingers shake, but she did an amazing job. I am excited to see what

*BREAKFAST WITH SANTA AT T-REX*

We met up with everyone at T-Rex to eat breakfast with Santa. Santa starts of swimming in the fish tank and then dries off for pictures. The girls made Christmas ornaments as I stood in line waiting for our turn with Santa. Then afterwards they all played in the dinosaur dig.

*WHERE IS MAREN?*

Jay always checks in on the girls and shuts of their music and lamps before heading to bed. After going to Maren's room, he asked me where she was? I ran up to her room to find her sleeping on her window seat instead of her bed. I am surprised she hasn't thought of doing that before.

Happy Birthday big boy Fletcher!
Fletcher shared his birthday with everyone at Jumping Jacks, a place with blow up slides and obstacle courses. Everyone had a blast playing.

*VISITING SANTA*

We try to go to Crown Center to see Santa every year. This year we made it out pretty early, so the line wasn't super long like usual. I was smart this time and had the girls take their picture first before playing, so that their hair wasn't super static.

*EDDY IS FINALLY BACK*

Alexa was really worried, because several of her friends elves came back right after Thanksgiving. She was thinking he would never come back. Finally he came back. She wrote him a note from her and Maren to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas. We had to wait until morning to see if he would take it.
