It was the first time the girls went out on their own out of ski school and my first time ever on skis. We started out on simple greens. At first, jay and I just went and Trevor took Maren, Alexa and Audrey. We saw them coming down the hill While we we were on the lift. Alexa was super cautious and kept in control, while Maren went kamikaze straight down the hill. It was hard to watch as she went super fast, but she tucked at the end and wiped out right before she hit the end.

Trevor took Audrey back to Erin to go home and we went up a ski lift and ate lunch at the top of the mountain. After lunch, trevor met up and ended taking Alexa with him so that Jay could stay behind to coach Maren and me. Eventually we caught up with them and Trevor told us how he took Alexa down her first blue. Not to mention it was on the shaded side of the mountain, so it was pretty icy. We followed them down a blue, however, I fell behind. I eventually hit hard enough to loose both my skis. The combination of seeing the half pipe and loosing my skis, I decided to call it quits. I had no clue how I was going to make it down the half pipe with only a few hours of skiing. I ended up calling a courtesy snow mobile and getting a ride back to the base of the mountain to wait for everyone else.

Turns out Alexa went down the half pipe and did great. She said she was nervous, but wanted to show Maren it was ok. Next Maren went. Maren chose to go straight down the center, which caused her to gain crazy speed. Alexa tried grabbing her, but missed. She ended up going through the gate and wrecking losing one ski. Jay and Trevor saw her and Alexa skied over to her to check on her. She said she didn't want to do it again.
