*SNUGGLES*

Maren always begs to sleep with someone. Of course Alexa always says she wants her privacy and tries to refuse, but she usually will let her. How could Alexa resist? Maren is such a great snuggler!

*TRIP TO ST LOUIS*

I've been wanting to head to st. Louis for a weekend trip and we were finally able to go. It was a perfect birthday weekend getaway.

We started out by going to dinner at The Hill. It's an area with a ton of well known Italian restaurants. After dinner, we headed back to the hotel so the girls could swim.

The next day, we headed to the arch. Alexa and I went a long time ago, but we didn't take the trip to the top. This time we decided to ride up and check out the view.

Next we went to a restaurant that happen to be having a oyster fest. Maren loved them and Alexa didn't even want to try them. We expected that result.

Then we finally got to go to my favorite place, the City Museum. Maren had never been before and as soon as we walked in, she was ready to go. Jay played for a little while and then headed to a close bar to watch the MU game. The girls and I stayed behind and ran through the whole place. We had so many bruises between the three of us.

The next day we stopped in Columbia on our way back to Kansas City.

*MAREN'S MEGA TOOTH FAIRY VISIT*

Maren "lost" tooth number 3, 4, 5, and 6!
Maren had a huge visit from the tooth fairy last night. She decided to do her teeth all at once. She thought that the water would be rainbow when she woke up. I explained that she would only be wearing one dress, so the water would be one color. She still decided on doing it in one night. She told dad that she was hoping for $10. She was so surprised to find that the tooth fairy left her $20. She also was wearing a red, ruby dress.

See her 4 teeth? You can see that two of them still has the roots. The middle two teeth don't at all.
On the ride to school, Alexa said that she thought that tooth fairies only wore toothpaste colored (light blue) dresses and Maren said she always pictures dark colored dresses.

MAREN'S BACK IN SCHOOL*

Maren went back to school today. It shows how much better she is doing. She fought us a little on the way, but still got ready and got in the car to go. Once we were there she didn't want to go to class. I think it was all of the kids saying hi and acting excited she was back.
Ms. Swift, her teacher was so nice. She let Maren sit out of class until she was able to talk with them about how to act. Maren and I sat outside of class and just talked.
Maren wanted to join her class once the kids started in on their morning work. I think it was the markers that made her excited. She headed to her desk and
started doing her work. She seemed pretty happy joining in with the rest of the kids.
I still had some major concerns with the fact that she still hadn't drank from a cup yet or that she was so scared that she looked different, so the teacher was so nice and sent me email updates throughout the day to let me know she was doing great!
It has been along week and a half, but she is finally getting better.
