Thirty One Week Recap

1. Coen pulled up for the first time when he was in his crib. (5.26)
2. He went from laying on the ground to sitting up this week. (5.26)
3. Coen had his first Memorial Day.
4. Coen commando crawled forward. (5.27)
   

*ALEXA VILLAGE PEOPLE*

 

 

 

 When the kids in Prairie Elementary are in 6th grade they get to participate in the Village People.  This is when all the 6th grades work down at the Village at various jobs.  You get to write down their picks of where they would like to work and then two are picked for each one.  They work a shift at their first job in the morning and then they work the second shift at their next place later that day.  Alexa got Macy's and Spangler's.  You can see their display that they got to create at Spangler's.  The display was Alexa's favorite part of her job.  I came in when she was doing an inventory of a new product arrival.  They made sure the order was complete and even put it out on the floor.

Thirty Week Recap

1. Coen's hair is growing out super long.  I can barely do his swoop now.
2. Rollie came up and sniffed Coen and made him giggle a ton

*ALEXA'S LAST DAY IN 6TH GRADE*

*ALEXA'S 6TH GRADE GRADUATION*

Alexa graduated elementary school today!  It seems only yesterday that we sent her to Kindergarten!

During the graduation, all the kids said what they wanted to be when they grow up.  Alexa said she wanted to me a Graphic Designer.  Once they all went though and said what they wanted to be, they sang a few songs they learned at camp and showed us a dance they also learned.

Afterwards they all went to the cafeteria for a candy and cookie party.

*TWENTY NINE WEEKS*

Twenty Nine Week Recap

1. Coen lights up when he sees his sisters.
2. He is starting to wave now.

*FAMILY PICTURE DAY*

I decided that all I wanted for mother's day was to do pictures of the kids together.  It also covered Coen's six month photos as well.

I think they turned out great.  We went to Loose Park, Kaufman (their parking place is beautiful) and Kauffman Gardens.

*TWENTY EIGHT WEEKS*

Twenty Eight Week Recap

1. Coen tried drinking from a straw today.  He looked like he was able to get a little bit from it.
2. He can now get on his knees, but he still can't crawl.
3. Coen can now push himself around in a circle. 

*ALEXA AND OLYMPIC DAY*

Alexa did great at Olympics day today.  She jumped 4" and she came in second place for the girls.  The Olympic Day is where all the different local elementary school 6th graders get together and compete in a track day.

*TWENTY SEVEN WEEKS*

Twenty Seven Week Recap

1. All of Coen's teeth have popped up.  He now has eight teeth total.
2. Coen had little pieces of salmon for the first time.  It was his first meat that he has had.
