*COEN'S 1ST TRIP TO THE LAKE*

Not only was it his first trip to the lake, but it was his first time in the water too!  He wasn't so sure of his lifejacket and held very still when it was on.

Thirty Five Week Recap

1. Coen went to the lake for the first time.
2. He swam in the Lake of the Ozarks.  He didn't really like his life jacket, but he was a pretty good sport about it.
3. Coen had his first tick on him.  I found it crawling behind his ear.

*COEN'S 8 MONTHS*

*VACATION PART 2: DISNEYLAND*

The girls had a great time in Disneyland.  Even Coen had a chance to ride several of the rides.  Alexa read up on tips and tricks in the parks, so she knew some of the hidden items.  Like rubbing the golden apple to make the evil queen laugh or tugging the rope in Indian Jones to hear someone scream.  She also saw some Hidden Mickey's.

We did 3 straight days for both theme park, which by far is enough to experience everything.  Besides some of the closed rides, I think we rode them all.  Disneyland is different from Disney World, because you don't have to rely on fast passes as much.  

We decided that we would never ride the Matterhorn again.  It was a rough ride and we hurt more than I enjoyed it.  Plus Maren almost lost her trading pins by leaving it in the back of the ride.  Luckily someone turned it in.  Everyone but Alexa had a blast on the Ferris Wheel (she was scared of the rocking and the height), but I would say the girl's favorite ride was the roller coaster on the Pier called California Screamin'.
