*COEN'S EYE SURGERY*

Little guy had to have eye surgery again on his left eye.  His stint he originally in must have fallen out, so they had to try something new.  They ended up doing a balloon through his tear duct to help widen it.  He has to keep it in for a year and then we can have it removed.  Luckily his eye improved, so the surgery was well worth it.

Children's Mercy does an amazing job at keeping them busy while they wait.  The kids aren't allowed to eat or drink leading up to their surgery, so they are usually pretty cranky.  They keep them entertained by giving them different toys while they are waiting for surgery.  You can tell that the dr's and nurses love what they do.

Below is all the discharge information.  They gave us a card from all of his nurses that took care of him.

*COEN'S BIG BOY BED*

Coen has a new big boy bed.  We figured it would be smart to get him his new bed and have him adjust before the baby is here.  He loved it instantly.

Of course it wasn't exactly what I pictured when I bought it, so the girls and I had to fix it up to match Coen's room. We spend the evening putting a few layers of paint.

*4th OF JULY - LAKEHOUSE WEEKEND*

We had a fun weekend hanging with the family.  The water was way up during the first few days of our visit, so the kids would take us from the land to the doc to keep us from getting our clothes soaked.

We had several firsts over this weekend, Coen touched a fish and went jet skiing, Maren drove a goKart, the girls got to try wakeboarding for the first time and Maren was allowed to fire off fireworks on her own.
