*LAKE HOUSE WEEKEND*
We had a great time at the lakehouse this weekend. The Smykay's come down for the summer and rent a boat throughout their time down, which allows us to have all brand new adventures on the lake. Coen loved riding on the tube until it flipped over on him and he is yet to feel like he can swim on his own with his life jacket. Maren and Jay jumped off of a cliff, but I chickened out and decided not to try. Beck just came along for the ride and loved being on the boat. Alexa stayed home, but met up with Erin and Fletcher to play some Pokémon hunting until we returned home.

*BECK GETS BOOTED*
We decided that it was time that Beck was moved to his own room. We figured it would help with him sleeping through the night. Beck thinks he needs a bottle a few times a night still at seven months.
The boys are officially roommates!

*BECK'S MAN BUN AND TEETH*
We are holding off until Disney to get Beck's haircut, so our only solution to keep it out of his face is his "man bun." I think it makes him look super cute, but it will take will power not to chop his hair off.
As he posed for his "man bun" pictures, we also had to snap a few of all of his baby teeth. He started out with his top two fangs and his two bottom middle teeth quickly grew in as well.

*MORNING ROUTINE*
Every morning I get the boys ready to head over to either Grandma Hauk's or Grandma Norma's house. I make sure to grab the essentials, which includes Coen's blankets. He insists on bring as many as he can grab. Once we are downstairs, Coen always grabs one of his blankets and tucks Beck in with it once Beck is in his carseat. It is the sweetest thing and my favorite moment in the morning.

*4th OF JULY - 2016*
Our family was a little divided this year. I kept the boys home and Jay went to the lake with the girls. Maren decided to stay at the lake and Jay and Alexa came home on the 4th of July. During the day, we took the boys to the Rivermarket to eat with us and had a relaxing day.
This was the first year that Coen really got into fireworks. He was most excited about the snakes (which is my favorite too). Once it got a little dark, we did sparklers and it was the first time Coen got to hold them.
We can't forget it was Beck's first 4th of July! He chilled out in his little car walker and watched as everyone ran around him.
