*DAY AT EPCOT*

Today we went to Epcot. It was as exciting as I thought, basically it had a bunch of different choices for food. However, at the front there where tons of characters to see and a few fun rides. The girls also got to make a mask and get a stamp on it at each country we went too. Maren accidentally left both of them in a shop, but luckily the girls didn't seem to upset.
They also had a ride that taught ways to grow food and the different ones Disney grew. Alexa loved that and had to buy a vanilla plant to bring home.
We also had some fun rides. One ride was like we were in a hang glider. I was nervous the whole time, because even though we were strapped in, I was nervous that the girls would fall out. We also rode Mission:Space that was in the big ball Epcot's known for. The girls also loved the Test Track ride. It was a big race car that we zoomed around a track in.
We ended up eating pizza in Italy. Epcot had so many different foods to choose from it was hard to decide, but it ended up being a good choice. After eating and playing some more, the girls decided to get some ice cream. Maren always gets vanilla, but for some reason asked for strawberry and ended up hating it. Alexa, being the great big sister she is, offered to buy her another ice cream to make Maren stop crying (with her birthday money.) What a sweet big sister!
That evening we decided to go to Magic Kingdom, since Epcot closes pretty early. We went to the Monster Comedian Club there where Mike from Monsters, Inc. had a comedy show. I was on the big screen and the monsters asked me where I was from. The whole time Maren sat beside me making silly faces into the camera at everyone.

*DAY AT ANIMAL KINGDOM*

Today we woke up and got ready for our day at Animal Kingdom. We had plans to eat breakfast with Donald Duck and his friends. We made it in time to ride the safari ride before going in. It was pretty impressive how many animals were there and how we rode through the lands in our jeep.
Next we headed to breakfast with Donald, Goofy, Daisy and Mickey. The girls had fun asking them for autographs and seeing Mickey and his friends.
We rode several rides that day, but Alexa's favorite was Expidition Everest. She got to ride it twice since Jay and I had to do the child swap. Maren would get upset every single time she was told she was to short. Next time we go she should be tall enough to ride everything.
We played a game where we teamed up into different groups and they named random items that we may have on us. Alexa and Maren rushed to us every time asking for that item. They named things like Band-Aids, cell phones, someone wearing a watch. Our group won the contest.
Jay and I were also in a dance competition. We had to stand up in front of people and dance to Footloose. We didn't end up winning, but we for sure came in second place! Plus the girls had fun watching their parents had silly.
The girls started getting into trading pins. At first they were more concerned on the rides, but by day 2 they were ready to do some swapping. Maren always shocked me at what she wanted to get. I think she mainly just wanted to swap with each cast member she saw with pins on. Luckily each cast member could only switch two with a person each time. Alexa always loved the quirky ones and hunted for those, so she was on a mission to find the collection.
We also went to a show with Flick from Bug's Life. It was in 3D and at the very end little bugs ran under our seats. The girls got a kick out of that tickling feeling going across our bottoms.
Later we went back to our hotel and swam for a little while. I also made the girls take a nap. Once they woke up we headed back to Magic Kingdom for the firework show and to eat dinner. We also watched the ending parade, which Maren ended up falling asleep at the beginning.

*MAGIC KINGDOM DAY*

Today we went to Magic Kingdom. The girls were really excited to start riding rides. The first ride we went on was with Stitch from Lilo and Stitch. It was a pretty scary one to start the day off with, but they both got through it. Next we rode Buzz Lightyear, then Space Mountain, Winnie the Pooh and then it was getting to be time for Maren to become a princess. Alexa decided she would rather have the money then to get her hair, nails and make-up done, so her and daddy took off to ride some more rides. Maren and I had a little time to kill before we went to Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique, so we hit the shops. Finally it was time for her appointment. Maren was being Maren and was really quite and sat really still while she got everything done. Afterwards she asked us where her princess dress was and was pretty concerned she didn't have it on. It was too hot for her to wear a heavy dress all day, so I explained that she would get to wear her dress that night when we ate dinner with Cinderella.
After her hair appointment, we rode several more rides and headed home to get the girls in their princess gowns. We hurried up and got dressed and headed to dinner with Cinderella, her prince and her evil stepsisters and stepmother. The girls had a great time playing games and dancing with them.

*FIRST DAY AT DISNEY*

We spent all day traveling to Florida. The girls were good and took a nap on the plane, so they were well restd to go to Downtown Disney. There we ate at the House of Blues and walked around at the shops. The girls both got a Vynalmation Mickey, which is a little plastic Mickey figurine. Alexa was funny, because she really watched the prices and was conservative on how she spent her birthday money.
After eating and shopping, we headed back to Shades of Green to get rested for the next morning at Magic Kingdom.
