*ALEXA'S PICTURE DAY*

Alexa's picture day came fast again. We never had it two times a year, but for some reason schools started doing this. I think I get more worked up then she does trying to get the perfect outfit together. She would probably be fine wearing anything I picked out. I try to give her the option of a couple of outfits, so she can at least have some say in it. I should be glad it's this easy for now.

*TOY STORY III ON ICE*

We got tickets for Toy Story 3 on Ice. The girls really enjoy watching these shows. One day I know they will be too old for them :(.
This one wasn't too bad and the movie was pretty good. We also fell in love with Lapso. We saw him in Disney World when we went, so the girls were excited when he came out on stage.

*ALEXA AT COTERIE*

Alexa has been taking lessons at the Coterie Theatre in Crown Center for the past few months. She really liked the different characters they would pretend to be and some of the fun games the teacher would have them do.
During the first part, Alexa brought us into her area where she pretended to have a small house. Our job was to ask her different questions about her and her house. The second part was her acting like one of her characters she made up. They all lined up in a line and stood up during their turn to tell everyone about their characters. It was funny to see what the different kids came up with and what their powers were.
Afterwards we went to Fritz's to celebrate her great performance. The girls had been before, but it was my first time. Let's just say that the best part was the train delivering our food.
Oh, and before hand, Maren got to play in the Under the Sea Exhibit. It was right next to Alexa's class.

*GREASE IS THE WORD*

The girls and I went to Grease tonight at the Musical Hall. It was fun having a night with just them and watching a great musical. They used a few bad words, which both the girls would point out each time. I was surprised to see how many young girls ended up coming to the play.
The next day the girls got to wear their shirts they got from Grease to school.

*MY VALENTINE'S*

I have got to be the luckiest mom ever to have the best family!

I took off Valentine's Day, so that I could help out at the girls' parties (and of course take a ton of pictures) and then Jay and I went to dinner with some friends. It was a great day being with my family.

*ALEXA'S VDAY PARTY*

I got to go to Alexa's Valentine's Day Party to help out (Maren came too.)
For the past few years it has landed on either a weekend or a Friday, so I am used to taking her home for the weekend. It was weird having it on a Monday for once.
Alexa had fake mustaches in her VDays, which were a big hit. Everyone had them on at one point playing around. The boys instantly put them on and played with them and eventually the girls started putting them on. They also made a rose craft and played a couple of games during the party.

*MAREN'S 1ST VDAY PARTY*

Maren and Michael's first Valentine's Day party! They both got a ton of creative Valentines from all of their classmates.
