*GIRLS' YEARLY CHECK-UP - 2011*

*THEATRE IN THE PARK - SOUND OF MUSIC*

This was the play Alexa was almost chosen for. It came down to 5 girls at call backs. The nice part was that one of her friends she met auditioning was called back for the part and ended up getting it. It was neat to go and see her perform.
We met Alexa's friend, Evelyn there and all had a picnic before the show.
We ended up only getting to see 3/4 of the show, because it started to rain. Unfortunately, it was their last night, so we couldn't come back to see the end of it.

*FATHER'S DAY*

We just got back from a weekend at the lake, but the girls decided to wash their dad's car for Father's Day. The love washing his car so much that they did mine too.

*WEEKEND AT THE LAKE*

*SOMETIMES MOM'S JUST HAVE TO SNUGGLE*

I caved and crawled in bed with the girls to snuggle and have a slumber party. Sometimes moms just have to do that!

*ALEXA AT ALCOTT - HEIDI*

After all of the hard work, Alexa finally got to put on her play. She was just in the first scene, but had quite a few lines and did a great job at playing Barbel. She had to play the daughter of the town's gossip and ask why Heidi was going to live with Heidi's grumpy old Grandfather.

*ALEXA'S END OF YEAR SOCCER PARTY*

Alexa was able to make her end of year soccer party just for a little while before she needed to go to Alcott for her play. She got to play for a bit, eat and stay for awards. Unfortunately, she had to leave as everyone rode horses, but at least she got to get her trophy.
The girls did an outstanding job this season. They weren't undefeated like the season before, but they had a ton of fun. Alexa ended up getting the last goal of the season, so hopefully next year she will start with one.
