*THIRTY FOUR WEEKS*

Thirty Four Week Recap

1. Coen's 1st trip to California.  We had fun going to Laguna Beach and having him play in the ocean.  He took a hard hit by a wave that knocked him over.
2. He also had his first trip to Disneyland.
3. Coen had his first processed food that you squeeze from a pouch.  Up until now, Dad made him all his food.

*VACATION PART 1: LAGUNA BEACH, CA*

We are having a great time in Laguna.  The girls can stay in the water all day playing on the boogie boards.  It was Coen's first time in the ocean, but he didn't like it as much.  Dad turned his back for one second and he was knocked over by a wave.  He had sand all over himself, so I took him back for a quick shower and a nap while they stayed and played.

 

 

*THIRTY THREE WEEKS*

Thirty Three Week Recap

1. Coen fell asleep for the first time in his high chair.
2. He is still obsessed with the remote.  He will crawl all the way across the room to it.
3. Coen can clap now.
4. Coen says "Bababababab" over and over now and will repeat it if you ask him to.

*ALEXA'S 6TH GRADE ST. LOUIS TRIP*

Alexa has been counting down the days since 1st grade for when her Girl Scout troop would get to go on the St. Louis trip at the end of her sixth grade year.

It was also fun, because it was just me and her on this trip and we roomed with other 6th grade girls and their parents.  These girls have been together since they were little, so it was fun to see them all as older girls having fun together.

Thirty Two Week Recap

1. Coen officially crawled on his knees with no belly. (6.1)
2. Coen walked by pulling himself up on the couch and was able to walk holding on to it.  Of course he was reaching for the remote the whole time.  (6.2)
3. Coen can officially crawl now. (6.2)
4. We lowered Coen's crib for the first time, since he can pull himself up now. (6.5)

Thirty One Week Recap

1. Coen pulled up for the first time when he was in his crib. (5.26)
2. He went from laying on the ground to sitting up this week. (5.26)
3. Coen had his first Memorial Day.
4. Coen commando crawled forward. (5.27)
   

*ALEXA VILLAGE PEOPLE*

 

 

 

 When the kids in Prairie Elementary are in 6th grade they get to participate in the Village People.  This is when all the 6th grades work down at the Village at various jobs.  You get to write down their picks of where they would like to work and then two are picked for each one.  They work a shift at their first job in the morning and then they work the second shift at their next place later that day.  Alexa got Macy's and Spangler's.  You can see their display that they got to create at Spangler's.  The display was Alexa's favorite part of her job.  I came in when she was doing an inventory of a new product arrival.  They made sure the order was complete and even put it out on the floor.
