*SECOND DAY AT THE OMAHA ZOO*

After we woke up and got ready the girls all ate breakfast as the mom's got all of their stuff to the car. As soon as our items were loaded into the cars, we broke off into our groups again with our tour guides. They took us to the lion house. All of the large and medium cats were hyper and playful. We visited the monkeis and oragatans. We also saw a baby monkey and a baby ardvark. It was so fun to be out before the crowd came. We finished it all by riding the Skyfari and then heading home. Right before we left town we stopped at McDonald's to wrap it all up.

The weekend was such a fun one!

*ALEXA'S TRIP TO OMAHA ZOO*

Alexa's girl scout troop spent the night at Henry Doroly Zoo in Omaha. It was a blast. We got to sleep in the aquarium where the penguins are at. Alexa choose to sleep in the aquarium tunnel with all of her friends and I slept just a little away by the jellyfish.
We got to do so many neat things. When we first got there we were early, so we let the girls all riding with us and another van load play in the grass next to the stadium until it was time to come into the zoo.
Next the girls all sat around in a circle and learned about all the different animal's fur. They got to feel all different types of fur.
Next the girls broke up into two different groups and we took a tour of all of the different exhibits. During the day the lights are out for the nocturnal animals, so at night they are on for the animals daytime. We have been to the zoo several times, but this was the first time we went to the reptile house with the lights on! We got to go into the swamp area in the daytime, see the bats with the lights on, and all the other animals that come awake at night.
Afterwards, we came back to the aquarium and the girls got to eat pizza and watch a movie. A little later the girls got on their pj's and found a place to sleep. They got to play a little more and then all the lights shut out. The girls layed under the aquarium and nicknamed all the fish swimming in the tank.

*ALEXA's 7TH TOOTH IS LOST*

And the tooth fairy's dress was pink!

We were hoping she would loose this tooth before pictures. It was moving and poking out weird, so we knew it wouldn't be long. Finally she was able to pull it out in the bathroom before bed - just in time for the tooth fairy!

*GIRLS' INTERVIEW*

*HERE COMES THE CIRUS*

The girls were excited to go to the circus today. We met all of their cousins there too!

Beforehand we got to go down on the floor and meet some of the circus acts. It was neat to see some of them up close. Alexa got so into the show. I loved hearing her laugh loudly at some of the funny clown parts. Maren loved it too!

*ROLLIE'S BEAUTY PAGEANT*

They had a dog day at Porter Park, so the girls and I decided to go. It was fun to look at all the different kinds of dogs. We walked around and let Rollie meet new friends. We also enrolled Rollie in the "Cutest Puppy Contest." Even though there were a ton of puppies there, we were still shocked to find out that she didn't win. I bet she was close though!

*ALEXA'S FIRST GOAL!!!!*

Alexa made her first goal! Yeah!!!!!
Right before her game we happened to talk about her making a goal. She said that some people make the goals, but she never shoots at all. We told her to just try when she gets the chance when she is playing. Sure enough, she went out and did it. It was awesome! Her teammates ran over and gave her a hug after it happened.
Good job Lexa!
