Everyone at the mining place.

Today the girls and I went to Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead with Bambi, Brittany, Caleb and her neice, Fiona. The girls fed the goats and mined for treasure. It was pretty fun day.

*A POOPED PRINCESS*

I let Maren go into my bed and watch a movie. I noticed she wasn't making much sound, so I figured she fell asleep. I went in to peek at her and found her holding her little magic wand. It was the cutest thing ever!
Maren had a busy day today. She also wakes up pretty early, so she crashes hard at night. Alexa of course can stay up all night, but loves to sleep in. We downloaded some of the old school games for the Wii, so she was into that all night. She will last all night on the weekends until I make her go to bed.
I had to take a pic of the old Mario just to bring back memories for everyone! I used to play this all night at my dad's.

*HAPPY BDAY GRANDPA BURHANS*

His bday was on Monday, but we decided to all go to Bucca's on Saturday night. Of course I forgot to have the server take a picture, so I had to do it when we were all leaving in the parking lot.

*A DAY OF PICTURES*

We wanted to get some new pictures of the girls together, so I decided to spend the day going to fun places snapping pictures. The girls put up with me for the most part. Of course we started off trying to take some, but the girls were starving, so we ran to McDonald's to refuel and then shoot some more!

*GIRLS' INTERVIEW*

Her comment about donating half of her $200 made me remember something that a mom of the triplets in her grade (Joesophine, Stewart, and Hatch) said to me today. She said that she had noticed how nice and thoughtful of other people's feelings Alexa was. She wanted to see if the triplets noticed the same thing so she asked them, "Who in your class cares about people a lot and is nicest?" She said without hesitation and in unison her 3 kids said "Alexa." I was so excited to share with Alexa what I had heard. Once I told her, it brought the biggest smile to her face.

*MAREN AND AUNT RACHEL AT THE ZOO*

Maren and Aunt Rachel spent the day at the zoo. Here is what Aunt Rachel had to say:
The very first thing she wanted to do was ride the carousel and she chose the lady bug. Then we went over and caught the sea lions at the end of the presentation when they were still walking around doing tricks. The sea lion held the ball on his nose right in front of maren and she thought that was pretty cool. We took the tram out to africa and she was obsessed with seeing the giraffes (you'll have to ask her to pronounce it for you) and luckily we were able to see them from the boat ride. We went throught the new rainforest and she took her picture in front of the monkeys. The funniest quote of the day was when we walked over to the Red River Hog. She looked at it and said "he looks like a butt kisser".

Here are a bunch of pictures she took and some that I took.
