Today was Alexa's first day of second grade. We had to get back into the morning routine after having a fun summer. Of course she has her morning chore lists and having to get ready by 7:40am is another hassle, but it all came together.
It rained today, which makes it hard to get those cute pictures of her walking to the car for her first day. We did get to school early enough to take several pictures beforehand though.
Alexa threw up on Saturday night in the middle of the night. She seemed fine all day on Sunday, but it still made me nervous. This morning she started to complain a little of a stomach ache, so I am crossing my fingers she feels fine all day and it was just a case of excitment/nerves! At least she only has half day today.
